Federal COVID Spending? About eight times as much as FDR's New Deal

To date, the US has spent more than $6 trillion on COVID relief. This is eight times the amount that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt spent on his New Deal program. Currently the US budget deficit is $1.7 trillion. We’re setting records this year, but in all the wrong ways. This wild spending has to stop.
